Do you want to be the first to know about my next shop opening? You can sign up for my newsletter at www.TheVintageDreamer.com
Hello and Welcome! My name is BekahJan and Here you will find hand carved wooden Progress Keepers for your knitting and crochet projects. All of my wood charms are hand carved using high-quality basswood that is responsibly and sustainably harvested by a family-run wood supplier and sawmill based in Michigan.
Wooden charms are the best because they are super light weight and take a lot of love and care to make. Because of the nature of carving, my shop wont always be stocked. But rest assured In between shop openings you can find me busy carving for my next update.
You can also occasionally find hand beaded progress keepers along with my crochet patterns.
To find out when I am about to add more products you can follow me on instagram at The Vintage Dreamer Makes. www.instagram.com/thevintagedreamer.makes
SHIPPING: All shipping costs are calculated by Etsy based on current shipping rates. I ship everywhere except to the European Union. I ship out every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Care instructions
Progress keeper charms should be handled with care. Please avoid getting your charms wet, exposing them to heat, dropping them, tugging or pulling on them, or leaving them out exposed to dust. I recommend you keep your charms in a container with a lid. I do not recommend using your progress keepers as anything other than as a progress keeper for your knitting/crochet projects.
Each progress keeper is carefully assembled with hardware that is screwed in for durable, long-lasting use. The wood is waxed/finished to prevent cracking and dust build-up. When properly handled, your progress keeper should last a long time. You can always contact me with any care questions you may have.
Do I need to do anything special to keep my wood charms in good conditon?
Because the wood is finished with food-grade beeswax to prevent cracking and dust build-up prior to shipment, you shouldn't need to do anything else. But if you feel the wood is drying out, it is safe to apply food-grade beeswax like you would for butcher blocks or cutting boards. Use a clean cotton cloth to apply, wipe off any excess, and allow to fully dry before storing or using with your projects. I recommend Clapham's Beeswax Salad Bowl Finish.
Wholesale availability / collaboration
I am not currently able to produce wholesale orders or collaborate for bulk orders due to the time it takes to hand carve single items.
Repair instructions
I make every effort to ensure my charms are durable by using an eyelet that is screwed and glued in for extra durability so it should not come apart.
If the hardware should come apart from the charm, you can use E6000 glue to glue the eyelet back to the charm.
My item appears to be defective, what should I do?
Quality control is important to me, so if you believe your item is defective, please contact me ASAP so I can try to make it right for you.
